Sunglasses

Sheesh, it's been a while since I've worked digitally, and even longer since I've actually been pretty satisfied with it. This isn't the full pic, though. I screwed up the face a bit; maybe I'll get around to it later. ':>
Originally drew this on the fly with markers, no pencil sketches or anything! It was pretty fun. Not that you can tell here since it's all digital. lol

But while I was working on this, I decided to make a goal for myself. Throughout the year, I'm going to experiment with parts of my art that I'm unhappy with or want to do more of. I'll focus on one particular aspect per month, or more depending on what I'm working on. For example, this month will be mainly line art. But I made use of a great little tutorial to help define the way I shade the hair for this picture.

I like to keep my author's comments short so I guess I'll go in depth on my journal.

Here's the tutorial I used for the hair. It's for PaintTool SAI, but I just used my old Photoshop Elements 5. lol
